The United for Jobs web site is a one-stop-center for studies and analysis of environmental policies and their affect on America's economy and well-being. By focusing on a policy proposal's impact on jobs and job creation, the coalition hopes to encourage citizens to decide for themselves whether the costs of these proposed regulations are worth their implementation or passage into law.
United for Jobs is registered under section 501(c)(4), and is a project of the National Black Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council).
The project's goal is to educate citizens about how key environmental and energy proposals may impact jobs, nationally and in each state.
